Welcome!Perhaps you've already heard of The Trouvaille Workshop. Maybe you've even been to one of our past experiences, and you're back to see what's new. Either way, I'm really glad you're here because I believe so fully in the message we're sharing with multifaceted wedding planners worldwide. To have the chance right now to share that with you is a gift. When I started the planning process for this next retreat, I knew one thing had to be done: I needed to combine all the elements that are cornerstones to the Trouvaille brand with a freshness and dash of innovation to stay ahead of the workshop curve. Attending any workshop is an investment, and I want nothing more than my attendees' investments to be well worth it. Trouvaille is, yes, a part of my job and a facet of my business, so it needs to be executed as such. However, it's also a fierce purpose for me and one that will only be done if done right. I don't believe in shortcuts, and I almost never even try to look for them.So what's new around here? For starters, we're bringing the retreat back to Michigan where the Trouvaille dream began in 2013. And, we will be switching back to concluding the workshop on Tuesday night instead of including workshop activities on Wednesday. I now more than ever realize the importance of getting home quickly to loved ones and other responsibilities, so I want to ensure attendees, team members, and special guests can get back home quickly after their time away. Bigger isn't always better, and longer doesn't always ensure a more impactful experience. I know this small change in no way takes away from what we offer and will instead offer a big payoff. The curriculum at Trouvaille is going to kick up a notch, too. I believe I've created a really beautiful experience and rightfully so, as I'm a professional planner. But, when I first started the workshop it was because there weren't well known resources for multifaceted wedding planners to get answers and to educate themselves. Places where reputable and seasoned professionals would share wisdom in an encouraging and safe space. We have a fresh new lineup of speakers, but I hesitate to even call them that. They are so much more. And, finally, the in between. The margin and downtime. The things that happen at the retreat when no one is looking or when the end goal isn't to perfectly portray a moment in a square. The things everyone will take home with them that are tangible (because I love that part!), and the things they cannot hold but instead feel (I love this part even more). The simplicity. The long nights full of good conversation. I won't list these things in their entirety, because there are 12 women out there who will have the pleasure of experiencing it all firsthand, but these are the things I am most at peace about.Stay a while, and check out the updated website to learn more about what the next Trouvaille is all about. It's going to be our fifth workshop in four years and a celebratory one at that. So, here's to you! To past and present supporters, fans, attendees, dreamers, doers, suppliers, sponsors, and, best of all, the Trouvaille Workshop believers. You're the heartbeat, and you just keep beating. With joy,
